February 1894, sale of property at the Caledonia Hotel, Oakengates, by Barber & Sons of Wellington.by order of the trustees of the late Mr PITCHFORD.

Lot 1, The Oxford Hotel and premises situated in the centre of Oakengates, was, after being started at £1,500, bought by Mr HARRISON, of Market Drayton, at £1,960.   (Eddowes Journal. 10 Feb 1894)
